United Parcel Service (UPS), one of the world's largest parcel delivery companies, has released its financial results for the second quarter of 2026, posting US$22.8 billion in consolidated revenue.

The company said it remained profitable during the quarter despite softer shipping volumes in some markets and continued uncertainty surrounding international trade. UPS highlighted improvements in operational efficiency and disciplined cost management as key factors supporting its financial performance.

UPS also reaffirmed its commitment to long-term growth by investing in automation, digital technologies and its global logistics network. Company executives said these investments are designed to improve delivery efficiency, strengthen customer service and position the business for future demand.

The earnings report comes as logistics companies worldwide continue adapting to changing consumer behaviour, economic pressures and evolving global supply chains. Investors will be closely watching whether shipping demand strengthens during the second half of 2026 as businesses prepare for the peak holiday season.
