Marvel Studios has announced a series of significant updates to the Marvel Cinematic Universe during its official San Diego Comic-Con showcase led by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige.

Among the biggest announcements was the confirmation that Black Panther 3 is in development, with director Ryan Coogler returning to helm the film. The studio also revealed that actor Ryan Gosling will portray Ghost Rider in a new standalone feature scheduled for release in 2028.

Marvel further showcased new footage from Avengers: Doomsday, offering audiences a first look at the conflict involving Doctor Doom and teasing the return of several iconic characters. In addition, the studio announced that Avengers: Endgame will return to cinemas on 25 September 2026 in a special re-release featuring exclusive content connected to Avengers: Doomsday.

The announcements highlight Marvel Studios' continued expansion of the MCU with new characters, returning heroes, and interconnected storylines that will shape the franchise over the coming years.
