NVIDIA has announced the formation of the Open Secure AI Alliance (OSAIA), a collaborative effort aimed at advancing AI safety through open-source technologies. The alliance brings together major technology companies, cybersecurity firms, academic institutions, and nonprofit organizations to build practical tools that help secure AI models and AI-powered applications.

According to NVIDIA, the alliance will focus on creating open frameworks, benchmarks, and security tools that developers and organizations can use to identify vulnerabilities, improve model resilience, and strengthen the security of AI systems. By encouraging collaboration across the technology industry, the initiative seeks to make AI development more transparent, trustworthy, and secure.

Founding members include several of the world's leading technology companies, such as Microsoft, IBM, Cisco, Dell Technologies, Palantir, Trend Micro, SpaceX, and organizations under the Linux Foundation ecosystem. Together, they aim to accelerate innovation in AI security while promoting open collaboration across the industry.

The announcement represents one of the most significant technology collaborations of the year, highlighting the growing industry-wide focus on ensuring that rapidly advancing AI technologies remain secure, reliable, and safe for enterprise and public use
